BingX Basics & Tutorials — Fees, Registration, Security

Core BingX guides: registration and KYC, fees, deposits and withdrawals, copy trading, futures, security and honest reviews.

These are the guides that answer the questions people actually ask before they trust an exchange with money: is it legitimate, what does it really cost, how do funds get in and out, and what happens when something goes wrong. They are written to be read in any order, but there is a sensible sequence depending on where you are right now.

The BingX numbers referenced throughout are the same everywhere on this site: spot trading costs 0.10% at the base tier, futures 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, leverage runs to 150x on major pairs, and a referral code takes up to 20% off those fees permanently, from the first trade rather than after a volume threshold. BingX is unavailable in the US, UK, Netherlands, Singapore, Canada, mainland China and Hong Kong.

Questions people ask before they start

What is the minimum I need to know before depositing anything?

Three things. First, that verification is required for most of what you will want to do, so finishing it before you need it saves a lot of waiting. Second, that the network you choose on a transfer matters more than the amount — sending on the wrong chain is the most common way people lose funds, and it is not always recoverable. Third, that a small test transfer on any new address or network costs a fraction of a dollar and removes almost all of that risk.

How much does trading actually cost, beyond the headline fee?

The commission is the part everyone compares and rarely the largest part of the total. Add the spread you pay on the pair you actually trade, which on a thin order book can exceed the fee outright; the withdrawal fee on the network you use, which dominates on small amounts; and the funding rate if you hold perpetual positions overnight. On BingX the base spot rate is 0.10%, futures 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, and a referral code takes up to 20% off permanently — but the honest answer is to add the four components on your own typical trade size.

Is it safe to keep funds on an exchange at all?

Keeping funds anywhere has a trade-off, and the honest framing is that convenience and custody pull in opposite directions. An exchange balance is instantly tradeable and protected by whatever security you enable; a self-custody wallet is yours alone and lost if you lose the key. In practice most people who lose money lose it to phishing and reused passwords rather than to an exchange failing, which is why two-factor authentication, a withdrawal address whitelist and an anti-phishing code matter more day to day than the custody question itself.

What should I do if a deposit or withdrawal has not arrived?

Start by finding the transaction hash in the wallet you sent from and opening it in that network block explorer. That single step separates the two possible situations: if the transfer is confirmed on-chain and the network matches the one shown on the deposit page, the funds exist and the account simply needs to catch up. If the network does not match, you sent on the wrong chain and it becomes a support case rather than a waiting one. Resubmitting never helps and often creates a second transfer.
